Hey everyone. I have a few questions about becoming a premium member on DeviantArt. My mom will not buy my sister and I a membership until we convince her about all of the things we can gain. I understand we get "journal skins" and we can post images in our journals. But as an artist, what are the gains of being a member on DeviantArt? Has anyone been noticed by an empolyee or anything? I would like to hear from anyone who has a membership or who is also looking into it and knows more than I. Thanks everyone!

Hey everyone. I am hopefully getting a new camera lense as an early birthday gift in early May. The camera I have right now is a Nikon D40. I would like to invest in a lense that lets me zoom in for close ups, preferably for stage performances such as bands, and that has a nice focus. If any of you know a lense under $300 that has these qualities, please let me know!

I'm back from Poland! It's been about 2 weeks. I had the time of my life. I got close to people I never thought would like me and I met the most amazing people. We flew to CDG airport in Paris, then took another plane to Warsaw, Poland. Warsaw was pretty much how I pictured it. The old buildings and all the people walking the streets. Everyone there looks like a model. It's so crazy. Girls wear high heels on cobble stone streets. You'll see them in the photos I will upload. Krakow was amazing also. I got paired up with Christin, so we got the same host family. I was so happy with who we stayed with. His name was David, but they say it like Dahveed hahah. They said my name like Clareessa. His parents spoke NO English, so it was hard to communicate. He spoke some English, but with some things we had to use a translator. I sort of had a crush on him... So it was hard leaving. But he's coming to stay with me in September. I definitely can't wait to show him Cincinnati!
Well, tonight I have my first "job". I'm being a photographer for a band called Static Vessels. I've never taken photos of musicians before, so i hope it turns out well. Any suggestions? Thanks!

So this week has been very busy so far and will continue to be busy throughout. Monday I had a butt-load of homework to do and then went to the gym to work out. I finally swallowed my fear and started jogging on the tredmill. Anyways, on Tuesday I had more homework to complete. Wednesday I was supposed to have a meeting about my Spring Break trip to Poland but the men who were putting in the carpet throughout my house stayed too late. So I couldn't attend. Thursday, tomorrow, I have to stay after school to talk to Dr. Rudnick about the meeting I missed, then go to the gym Friday I am going to Lauren's house and Saturday morning I have my first Art Lesson with Lauren's mom. She worked at DAAP, which is one of the best art departments in the nation. It's located at the University of Cincinnati. Hopefully I will get in for photography. Although it is super hard to get accepted, or even to stay in. After the lesson, my dad is going to pick me up, take me to my hair appointment then take me home. My friend Jenna is going to come over, then we're going to head back to Lauren's house where we are going to get ready for the Masquerade Ball my school is holding. Urg. MTV is going to be filming.
OH! Update on that. The MTV series, Taking the Stage, will premire March. 19th on MTV. I go to the School for Creative and Performing Arts. Most of you have probably already seen the preview for the show. I'm undecided if I like it or not. Oh well.
But that is my rant for the day. I should probably get to bed. Comment my new additions Thank you!
